Well the start of the sason is approacing fast and its not looking good in the Promod camp right now. There is going to be a severe shotage of cars out at the start of the season, Andy Robinson is building his new Studebaker, Bert Englefield is Building his new Ford Neil, Taylor is building a new engine combination and Alan Cook has sold his car to Håkan Nilsson and Dave Pollen has his car up for sale. Nick Davis is talking about taking a year out to concentrate on developing I.C.E. with Rob Lawring.

But on the brighter side Bill Weston has a new car out son. We shold see Andy and Bert out about mid season and Neil towards the end of the year and it is anybody's guess at the moment out of those racers who have said they are selling up, which are genuine and which are off-season ruses to thow the opposition into a false sense of security!!!

"I saw a small article about a new car i England. The driver promesed to break the european record in Pro Mod, 6.51 sec.
 -He can dream about that, we will run 6.40 sec this year, the driver of  "the Eslöv Mustang" Håkan Nilsson says."

Saw that the Eslöv Mustang believe the new record for doorslammers will be 6.40 sec. That's not true! The new record will be at  least 6.30 sec. Because we will also go to England, at run a new bigger, more powererful, and better looking engine, it's a brand new 526 Hemi from bob Newberry Racing , and it will give us 500 hp more than 1999. Bigger engine, 140 lbs less weight of  the car, and more experience, so we would  run faster than we did on Tullinge 1999, 6.45 sec and 345 km/h with our old 426 38%            overdrive!

Hmmm... There's many a race won on the bench thats lost at the track..........................
Also using billet hemi heads on blown cars is outlawed in the promod rules and they appear to be racing in "Super Pro Mod" anyway.
